Important news for Post Office account holders

Post Office Money® International Payments (provided by moneycorp) has now closed, don't worry you can still get the same great service directly through moneycorp.

In order to continue enjoying competitive rates, low fees and specialist guidance, you will need to reactivate your account by accepting our updated terms and conditions and creating new login details. After this, you will be able to sign in and exchange currency or make payments exactly the same as before – but with your new-look moneycorp account.

Q&A

What has changed to the service?

As of 31st July 2019 the service provided by moneycorp for Post Office International Payments will cease. However, moneycorp will continue to operate as a foreign exchange and international payments provider.

With your new-look moneycorp account, you can enjoy all the same benefits as before, as well as the ability to hold funds on account, set up direct debits and agree a forward contract to lock in an exchange rate for up to two years of payments (this may require a deposit). In addition, you can utilise our range of foreign exchange tools via telephone if preferred, speaking directly with one of our currency experts.

How does this affect me/my account?

If you had a Post Office International Payments account before, you won’t need to make a new account. Your existing account will be available until the 31st July 2019. Any trades booked prior to the 31st July 2019 that are due to complete after will be honoured by moneycorp.

After this date, your account will automatically be updated to a moneycorp account. By simply accepting our terms and conditions and creating your new login, you will reactivate your new-look account.

If you have already received an email from moneycorp requesting you to create your new login details, you will need to respond within 24 hours or the activation link will expire. In the event that you are unable to create your login within this time, please contact our customer service team on 0800 180 4809 (or +44 203 162 8080 if calling from abroad).

What will happen with my recipients and payment history?

The recipient and payment history of your account will be available online prior to the 31st July 2019. Once you have activated your new moneycorp account, your receipts and payment history will be visible in your new-look account.

What will happen with any funds on account after 31st July?

You can login and pay any existing funds on your account to a recipient before 31st July. Alternatively, after the 31st July 2019, you will need to accept our terms and conditions and create your new login details to activate your moneycorp account. From your new-look account, you will be able to access your previous funds.
