moneycorp are committed to ensuring you are able to conduct your financial transactions safely in the knowledge that your money is managed on a secure online platform. With this in mind we have created some relevant security guidance, designed to protect your finances.

To help you keep your Moneycorp Account secure, follow these simple steps to stay safe whilst online:

  • Think of your moneycorp client credentials as security information. Your client number, username and password are unique to you and should never be shared. We will never ask you for your password.
  • Do not write your password down anywhere, and change your password regularly.Be alert to phishing emails that claim to be from Moneycorp and ask you for either your personal or security information. A phishing email is a technique used by fraudsters to obtain your security information (username and password). We will never ask you for this information by email.
  • When entering your moneycorp password on our login page, always check that the website you’re on is a Moneycorp site and it has a valid security certificate. You can check this by clicking on the padlock icon on the address bar of your browser

To help stay safe online:

  • Install and maintain your anti-virus software.
  • Maintain a firewall on your personal computer.
  • Keep all your software up to date including updates you receive (example Microsoft).
  • Ensure you use the latest version of your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc).
  • Keep your login details safe.
  • Logout after you have finished your session.
  • Be extra careful when using computers in public places, such as an internet cafe or library.
  • Never change your password using a public wireless network.

If you suspect you have received a phishing email claiming to be from Moneycorp, please forward it to us at enquiries@moneycorp.com.  

Personal Customers

  • Always verbally check bank details with payees – if emails have been compromised you could be sending your money to a fraudster.
  • Always enter our web address www.moneycorp.com straight into your browser’s address bar. Do not use links from emails or any other sites that you do not trust.
  • For your protection, Moneycorp sends you an SMS and/or email notification when a new recipient is set up on your account.* If you receive one of these messages and do not recognise the new banking details, please contact us immediately on +35319015252
  • If you have not added your mobile number to your account please do so as soon as convenient by calling our Client Services Team on +35319015252 to ensure you receive all future SMS alerts.

Business Clients

  • Never accept 3rd party banking details or changes to payment instructions from suppliers or business partners by email. Always re-confirm the information by phone or in-person.
  • Fraudsters send fake invoices to business, designed to look like they are from an existing, genuine supplier. Check with your suppliers whether any requested updates to their payment details are genuine.
  • Always enter our web address www.moneycorp.com straight into your browser’s address bar. Do not use links from emails or any other sites that you do not trust.
  • Avoid letting unauthorised individuals use the devices you bank with or allowing remote access to your computer when someone calls you unexpectedly.
  • Install and maintain your anti-virus software and firewall on your personal and business computers. If you suspect your computer is infected, do not use it to conduct your finances until it has been cleaned.
  • For your protection you can ask moneycorp to send you SMS notification when you set up a new recipient.* If you then receive one of these messages and do not recognise the recipient, please contact us immediately.
