Will I need any ID?
In most cases no, as your information will be verified automatically during the account opening process.
However, sometimes this verification comes back inconclusively, in which case we will require a proof of address and a proof of identity document. Full list of the documents we accept can be found in the ‘Signing up’ section.
What payment methods can I use?
We can accept payment by a wire transfer from your bank to us. Alternatively, you can visit your local bank branch to make a transfer. You can also use your online banking, your mobile banking app, or telephone banking if you have this set-up.
If any of these payment methods are not suited to you, we are also able to accept cheques. However, please note that this is liable to lead to a delay in your transfer, as the funds may take longer to clear before we can proceed.
Please note, that for security reasons, we are unable to take payments by card over the telephone.
Is there a minimum/maximum amount I can transfer?
The minimum amount you can transfer online is £50, or the equivalent in whichever currency you’re converting.
