The funds are noted as processing once your client has completed a successful transaction. They are then deposited in your Moneycorp account within 48 hours.

Will we be informed when a client makes their payment

Yes, you will be given access to a full reporting suite. This will detail all the requests sent, when your clients have made payments, and when those funds are allocated to your Moneycorp account.

What are the minimum/maximum amounts we can request and receive

Each individual card transaction is limited to £20,000 GBP or currency equivalent. There is no minimum amount.

How much will the service cost our clients to use

Nothing, but you may decide to pass on your payment costs to them. It’s entirely normal for clients to expect to be charged a small fee for making a payment online – particularly an international payment.

These online charges will still be much lower than those associated with sending funds through a high street bank.

How much will this service cost us

There’s no cost to register with or access the PayCollect service.

When your client completes a transaction, you’ll be charged a card fee dependent on the type of card they use, and a small transaction fee per successful collection. You may choose to pay these fees yourself or pass some or all of the cost on to your client.

How will the service appear to our customers

Any PayCollect requests your clients receive will be branded with your logo and be in your company style. The client will be informed at the collection stage that the company appearing on their statement will be Moneycorp.

Will a client actually read the email and make the payment?

PayCollect emails are always personalised for the client and contains information about the security features of the service. We recommend you also talk with your client in advance of sending a PayCollect request, so that they know to expect an email.

How do I create and send payment request emails

PayCollect helps you create individual emails using a standard, personalisable template. Once you’ve added details of your client and their payment, the email is generated and sent. All of this takes just a matter of minutes.

Many of our clients live overseas and the currency that we want to bill them in is not the same as their local currency. Can PayCollect help with this

Yes. PayCollect allows you to issue payment requests in the currency that you want to receive. With its built-in foreign exchange facility, your clients can make their payments using their local currency.

This ensures that you receive the exact amount requested in your chosen currency, and your client is billed in their local currency.

How will this service help us collect payments from our clients?

You are able to request payments by email, and your clients can then pay instantly using a credit or debit card. This should improve the speed of your collection process.
